Skimmia japonica Rubella is a gorgeous, evergreen shrub with very neatly-finished dark green foliage. This shrubs delightful red budding really packs a punch in those cold Winter months. Then, in the Spring months of March and April, elegant white flowering will show, adding a classiness to the look of the plant and space around it.

The positional preference of this plant is in partial shade, with full sun being avoided as it could lead to leaf damage. This Skimmia will look great in any border, display or medum sized pots. The soil should be moist and well-drained, with regular watering being required in its first year; especially in prolonged drier periods.
